How long we retain your data

We don’t store your personal data for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes that we have processed it. When you opt out from our emails, your personal data will be deleted from our email system no later than by the end of the month of your opt-out.

If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We are required to keep the personal data in our administrational and CRM-systems at least for 7 years, for legal purposes. Upon expiration of this legal requirement, the data will be removed from our system within 1 year of the expiration date.

Even if you have consented to us processing your personal data, you always have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, after which we will no longer process your data. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the data processing that you consented to prior to the withdrawal of consent.

In addition, you have a right to limit the amount of processed data, and a right to object to processing data. You also have the right to request your data to be transferred to another data controller. You also have the rate to require us to delete the data held about you (‘the right to be forgotten’). This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
